We had a Romantic one day visit to Kashmir. It was Kashmiri food in Kashmiri Ambience. It made us feel as if we were in Kashmir. Located in Malad West. This Restaurant is really very Romantic place. Ambience gives a feeling of being in Kashmir. They Actually have a Shikara inside the Restaurant, which gives a Romantic Kashmiri atmosphere feeling. Staff is very friendly. We were fortunate to meet the owner as well, she is a very decent lady, her hospitality is very good. The place is very clean and tidy. The best option to try many dishes was to order a Kashmiri Thali. We had Mutton, Chicken and desserts. We also tried Rajma. They also served a Vegetable dish in the thali. All was typical Kashmiri style food. Food quality is good and hygienic. We Enjoyed the food very much. We enjoyed the Kashmiri Kahwa sitting in the Shikara. They serve it Hot and Chilled both. If you want to have a short trip to Kashmir, then this is where you need to go. You will have it all, Kashmiri Food, Romantic Kashmiri atmosphere and the Shikara ride.

Poush - Essence of Kashmir located in Malad is one of the best Restaurants for Fine Dine in the locality. The ambience was Gorgeous and Royal and Romantic. The seating was elegant where you sit or even lie down as per your comfort with curtains that can be drawn for privacy and the other seating was the usual table and chair. The Restaurant honestly did give an Essence of Kashmir with the ambience and the environment and the music in the background. . We opted for Maharaja Thal which included: Food: *Ruwangan Josh *Kukur Yakhini *Seekh Kebab *Rajma Rice & Roti Desserts: *Phirni *Gulab Jamun Beverage: *Kahwah . The food was quite nice however the ambience here is something you do not wish to miss out on. They could improve a bit on Desserts though, but no complains for the rest. The staff was knowledgeable and the service was quite decent too. An amazing place to relax and dine with your friends and family. But the first thought that I had for this place was ROMANTIC. Looking for a place for an anniversary or date or just casual meal with your loved one? Well hunt no more as this is the place you should be visiting for an Awesome Romantic Experience as POUSH will take you right into the Kashmir while sitting in Mumbai. . THE BOMBAY REKDI RECOMMENDED!

Recently I have started feeling like Malad is the new Foodies Paradise with so many outlets and good restaurants opening up it’s a task which one to visit. Looking at the ambience and the specialty of the cuisine this one place was on my list since some time now. Finally decided to enjoy some authentic Kashmiri Cuisine. The moment you enter you get that old kashmiri aura with soothing music in background, shamiyanas, and boats that resemble to those in the famous Dal Lake. Totally fell in awe at the beauty of the setup. Overall this is our take on @Poush: Ambience: 5/5 Service:5/5 Food: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Food we ordered: 1. Kashmiri Zari Kahwah: We started our meal with their welcome drink, a famous Kashmiri tea well-known for its rich spice infused fragrant flavor garnished with dryfruits. This was amazingly subtle and sweet. The aromas are altogether bliss, a pleasant way to start your meal indeed. 2. Nadier Palak Tikki: This was a light appetizer to begin with, Lotus Stem and spinach tikkis deep fried for crispy crunchy texture on outside while soft on the inside. This was good flavor wise and specially loved the crunch. 3. Kokur Seekh Kanti: Tender chicken boneless cubes tossed in rich Kashmiri spices along with diced onions and tomatoes. The spices gave it an altogether a different flavor not much spicy but quite balanced enough. 3. Kokur Yakhini: Chicken gravy with the richness of authentic spices, the meat was quite tender and flavourful. The gravy itself was good and medium spicy and went very well with the breads. The flavours definitely are authentic as you don’t get to eat these flavours regularly. We had this with garlic butter Naan and were quite satisfied. 4. Phirni: To end this amazing meal we went for the Phirni, saffron infused sweet phirni served in earthenware. Ohh it was an absolute delight. The sweetness and texture both were equally balanced. Totally recommended. Overall we truly had a good time. The ambience obviously was the major attraction while the food pleases you with its authenticity. The staff is quite warm and courteous. Definitely coming here again. Happy Fooding 🙂

Poush Poush is a beautiful restaurant serving Kashmiri cuisines located in Malad west. They have beautiful interiors & would be a perfect place to have a romantic dinner with your partner. They have this beautiful sitting arrangement where you can have your personal space in a cabin with curtains. They also have a Shikara wherein you can have your meal. The staff is quick & well managed. What we had: 1) Non Veg Thal It contained Rice, Tandoori roti, Rajma, kokur Yakhini, Nadier Palakh, Rogun Josh, Mutton Seekh Kebab & raita. Kashmir Being a huge meat consuming state, the meat dishes tasted lovely. 2)Kesar Phirni Kesar phirni was perfectly smooth & sweet. It had rich flavour of kesar enriching its taste. 3)Zari Kahwah This is a typical chai of Kashmiri people. It has rich flovours of elaichi & was worth tasting.

'Poush - Essence of Kashmir' is a marvellous dining paradise for every connoisseur of good food, owing to the authentic and fascinating spread of Kashimiri and North Indian delicacies they serve and specialize in. Dining over here is all about experiencing the true quintessence of Kashmir. The decor features houseboats styled warm and cushy seating with traditional music playing in the background. The characteristic spirit of Kashimiri culture along with the geniality of the staff and an atmosphere characterized by an aura of positive energy is what makes it an eminent diner. Our table was hosted by Mr. Harish and Mr. Nathuram. The customer service is adequate. The order time per dish is roughly fifteen minutes. The menu is diverse with a plethora of Kashimiri and North Indian dishes along with a series of beverages and mocktails. If you're here, trying 'Kahwa' is a must! The traditional Kashmiri tea flavoured with cinnamon, cardamom and saffron garnished with almond flakes is not only flavourful but also refreshing. The aroma is so satisfying, that you just can't resist ordering it. Appetizers We had a non vegetarian platter which featured six types of chicken and mutton, tandoor grilled appetizers served with salad and mint chutney. "Reshmi Kebab" : Having mughlai roots, the meld of ingredients in the marinade bestows a sublime flavour to it. "Chicken Tikka" : It's one of those dishes that every restaurant serves by default. The chicken chunks cooked in the clay oven are loaded with flavours imparted by the spices, they are very appetizing. "Mutton Seekh Kebab" : With an exquisite flavour, the seekh kebabs are among the best selling dishes over here. They have a very unique, yet delectable flavour and taste sort of different from the seekh kebabs I've had at other places. "Kali Mirch Kebab" : It's the spiciest among all the other kebabs in the platter. It has an exquisite meld of flavours and a great overall taste. We also had "Pahadi Kebab" and "Malai Kebab" which tasted alright. The portion size of the platter is pretty good. Main Course We ordered a "Murgh Biryani" for main course. It had a mouth watering aroma and a luscious flavour. Tasted really good and had the perfect gravy to rice ratio. The chicken pieces are soft and juicy glazed with masala. Highly recommended by the staff and other customers. Dessert They serve an array of tasty sweet treats. We ordered "Phirni" which was very pleasing to the taste buds and aesthetically. Rich in flavour and an absolute delight. Poush - Essence of Kashimir, cited in evershine nagar is a gem and an ethos of Kashimir.

When it's comes to Kashmir, romantic and beautiful views always comes in mind. It's called heaven on earth and it is rightly said in many ways considering its breathtaking beauty and food.Today I had been to Poush which has given me the real fragrance of Kashmir.The ambiance is such breathtaking with wonderful sitting area including the shikara.The beautiful cabins are awesome if you are going with your partner.The food is just finger licking.We had ordered Maharaja thali which includes varieties of dishes including rajma,rice,palak sabzi,rogan Josh,raita,white chicken and goshtaba,with wonderful Phirini and gulab jamun and to finish with Kawah.We had an awesome experience. so if someone is planning for a cosy dinner with partner ,this is just a perfect place to sit and chill.For food and ambiance I will give 10/10.

Ever heard of a Kashmiri cuisine to be vast and elaborate?? Atleast I had not. This is an underrated place and unheard place even though it's about a year since its inception.The primary reason for this is because of its lack of visibility through the main road towards evershine nagar. But i was lucky enough to visit this place and enjoy its ambience and food. The ratings seen surely do not justify the class of this place. I have never visited Kashmir but the feel and the atmosphere was surely making its presence felt.The shikaara at the enterance and multiple ways of seating either chairs , sofas or sitting on cushions just blew my mind. Till date I was only aware of mutton rogangosh as the delicacy of Kashmiris...But once I went through the menu my doubts were cleared of the various number of dishes present. Also it's not just a menu, it's like an album describing the history, the culture and in depth details of the unheard cuisines. Sher chai: A Kashmiri style cold tea but on the sweeter side. Paya soup: Recommended. This was one of the most tastiest soups I have ever had , though quantity could have been a bit more. Kokur seekh kanti and mutton seekh kebab were the starters we ordered. And I can tell you the Kashmiri spices just enhanced the flavours of the chicken and mutton. Muts mutton and nadier kokur were the main course both being outstanding and complimented well with naan and parathas. Shufta: A dessert loaded with dry fruits in a sweet syrup worth trying. Phirni: Another amazing dessert. The music of santoor compliments well with the atmosphere created and dining experience. Highly recommended place especially for mutton lovers..

The ambience of this place is very inviting and the seating is very unique as well. They have a Shikara Boat style seating for two people or a traditional Baithak style seating which can be enclosed with curtains to give you the feeling of private dining. Additionally, they have candle light on weekends. The place is nicely decorated and clean as well. Their staff is polite, but using Zomato Gold is an issue here as they tend to not give the second highest priced dish as complimentary initially. After discussing it though, they agreed to the actual Zomato rules. Let's get to the most important thing, that is the food and we tried the following dishes : Nadier Churma - Crispy fried Lotus Stem which was delicious, to keep your hands occupied..😋 Kokur Seekh Kanti - Boneless chunks of Chicken which was spicy and absolutely delicious. It was full of flavour and beautifully marinated. But, it was let down by the not so fresh chicken which was a bit hard to chew. Kokur Dhaniwal Korma - Large pieces of boiled Chicken immersed in a non spicy gravy. The flavour of the gravy was way off balance due to it being extremely tangy and the gravy was very watery.
